After yesterday’s 12 hour debate about the interpellation of the Deputy Prime Minister of North Macedonia for European Affairs Nikola Dimitrov, 53 MPs voted in favor of while no one was withheld. With it, the Parliament of North Macedonia didn’t accept the opposition’s initiative to recall Dimitrov from his position.
At the parliament, Dimitrov said that the impeachment procedure against him resulted from a sum of false news.
For Nikola Dimitrov, this was the third impeachment attempt. The previous two procedures went on in the Parliament while he was a Foreign Affairs Minister.
