There is no outlook or announcements to revive the broken down “negotiations for negotiations” , where it is expected the four main political parties, and signatories to the Pržino Agreement are to sit down and hold talks. However, there is no new initiative for new talks, consultations or meetings with the lower echelon parties.
The negotiations, according to the Vice President of the SDSM Radmila Sekerinska said: “there is nothing”. This was her response to the question, whether there is contact between representatives of the political parties and whether there’ve been attempts to restore the negotiations.
The Minister of Health, Nikola Todorov, while visiting an emergency room in the Skopje’s suburb of Glumavo, he answered a question from a journalist and said he expects to see progress soon, even though for now, there have been no announcements regarding a meeting of political leaders.
“For now, there has been no announcement regarding a new leaders meeting and shouldn’t be until there is nothing tangible. I told you the other day the VMRO-DPMNE’s position on this regarding the voters’ list, so I expect that very soon there will be some progress”, said Todorov.
VMRO-DPMNE told our journalists at “Meta” that their views on the negotiations are clear, and the reason why the talks have broken down, lies with the opposition.
