The new agreement that will be ratified by the governments of Macedonia and Serbia will determine border procedures of the border crossing at the train line Tabanovce – Preshevo. This was voted today by the parliamentary commission for foreign policy.
The decision will see the forming of a new joint-authority zone where the personnel will conduct their duties in order to decrease the time it takes to process passengers and goods at the Tabanovce-Preshevo border crossing. This will also decrease waiting time on the Corridor 10.
Representative of the Ministry of Transport noted that 80 to 90 percent of all rail traffic goes via this border crossing.
