Dimovski: Xhaferi blatantly and arrogantly violated the law by announcing tomorrow’s vote

-

Ilija Dimovski, co-ordinator of one of VMRO-DPMNE’s parliamentary groups, said that Xhaferi’s announcement that tomorrow Parliament will vote on the Government’s proposal to dismiss Zvrlevski is “an insolent and arrogant violation of the law, and is unprecedented in Macedonia”, and that “the responsibility is mostly Xhaferi’s, and the citizens see it and will punish him adequately”.

“It’s against the law. The Electoral Code is being violated, and Xhaferi is mostly responsible. This is a blatant and arrogant violation of the law has not been seen in Macedonia. Citizens will see this insolence and punish him adequately”, Dimovski told “Meta”.

Parliament Speaker Talat Xhaferi announced that tomorrow, Parliament will vote on the Government’s proposal to dismiss the Attorney General of the Republic of Macedonia, Marko Zvrlevski, after MPs from the opposition VMRO-DPMNE left the session this afternoon referring to a letter from the State Commission for Preventing Corruption, who determined that in the period before local elections, there should not be a discussion and state officials should not be dismissed.

“Today I found that the list of reports have been exhausted and tomorrow during the continuation of this session, there will be a vote on the Government’s proposal for the dismissal of the Attorney General of the Republic of Macedonia”, said Xhaferi in a statement for TV21.
