Brussels will not comment on the platform issued by the Albanian parties

-

The European Commission will not comment on the content of the joint platform issued by the Albanian parties in Macedonia, DUI, Besa Movement and the Albanian Alliance.

When asked by a journalist, EC’s spokesperson, Maja Kocijančić said that Brussels are monitoring the development of the situation in the country.

“What I can say at the moment is that we are monitoring the situation closely and as we have said previously, we are expecting a quick forming of the government within the Constitutional frames, i.e. a new and stable government. But, we must see an urgent implementation of the reforms that refer to the rule of law, as well as the implementation of the reformatory priorities and a prolonged implementation of previous political agreements. Within this context, we shall continue to support the country at her European integrational process. This is all I can say at the moment”, said Kocijančić at today’s press conference in Brussels.
