Today, the Mayor of the City of Skopje, Petre Shilegov, announced that city bus transport will be free for passengers until the pollution is reduced.
He stated, that as part of the emergency measures that the City of Skopje is introducing to reduce the pollution, will be the interruption of all construction activities at construction sites, intense washing of the city streets, stronger inspections, as well as the limitation of the training of driving schools.
Shilegov appealed to drivers not to use vehicles without the need and for the citizens to organize and use a joint transport, but also to stop the use of waste materials, expect dry wood.
