VMRO-DPMNE has been attacked as never before in history, and the goal is breaking the party and placing it under control for greater goals by the one who created this process, stated the leader of VMRO-DPMNE, Nikola Gruevski at a press conference after charges were filed by the Special Prosecutor’s Office today.
“It’s about a political process, not a legal one. The SPO remains an instrument for party persecution and an office for SDSM. The greatest proof is that it makes decisions without any legal evidence. This is a shameful and cowardly act and will not remain without an answer from VMRO-DPMNE”, said Gruevski.
He said that the attempt to break the party would end without success and that it would remain on the state’s wall.
”As some say, constructiveness or compliance in our work ends today. Now history will be the judge, and the SPO will be part of the history that everyone who loves this country will be ashamed of”, Gruevski said.
The leader of VMRO-DPMNE said that the only sin that party officials are being prosecuted for was that he and the party for 11 years defended the state and defended the national interests.
“It’s not just a question about Nikola Gruevski, but a whole idea for a strong and solid Macedonia, which they want to crush. Now the leadership of the SDS is pleased, but soon the day will come when they realize that the circle will go around and that moment will come, when they find themselves in the lower part of the circle”, said Gruevski.
According to him, this is a pure political and anti-Macedonian construction of the SPO and that the future will prove it.
