Today in Berovo, EU Ambassador Samuel Žbogar assessed that the situation in Macedonia is not that dramatic and that parties should be given space to agree on forming a government.
“I do not think that the situation in the country is that hard, there is no need to dramatize. We had elections and it is normal to give political leaders more time to form a government. I see that political parties are already engaged. I am optimistic that political leaders will find the right way to form a government, so we, as the EU can continue to work towards the implementation of reforms which are needed”, said Žbogar.
Žbogar, together with French Ambassador Christian Thimonier in Berovo launched the “EU for You” campaign, where over three million euros will be invested into Berovo for reconstruction and construction of the sewerage network.
