Shilegov: SDSM first witness will be Zoran Zaev, and he will testify in an open session

-

The Chairman of the Inquiry Commission on the wire-tapping scandal, Petre Shilegov, today announced that the first witness he will call from the SDSM at the next session to give their testimony would be party leader, Zoran Zaev.

As announced by the Committee Chairman, Zoran Zaev will testify at a public hearing, in an open session.

In response to questions from the media, Shilegov said at yesterday’s session at the Inquiry Commission when the Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski testified, he refused to answer any questions related to the “bombs”.

MP and committee member of VMRO-DPMNE, Antonio Milososki responded to a journalist’s question, that he was not sure whether the testimony of the Minister of Finance Zoran Stavreski, which is scheduled for Thursday this week, will be held in secret or whether it will be open to the public.

But, he did say that all witnesses called from the VMRO-DPMNE had an agreement, that they would all testify behind closed doors, because some members of the Commission “would relish the chance in front of cameras to cause theatrics to attract attention.”
