Sometimes it is better to have internal discussions in order to achieve progress and I hope that eventually we will achieve significant progress on the European perspective of the country, said European Commissioner for Enlargement Johannes Hahn after meeting with Macedonian Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski.
Gruevski said he informed Hahn about all events in Macedonia.
– This was a good opportunity to brief the Commissioner on all events and on all our steps we do in different sectors – in the economy, in all other sectors – in a longer conversation and to hear how they see it and what they expect from us. Also, we talked about the current political situation. We told the truth, i.e. what is happening – said Gruevski.
Hahn will also meet with DUI leader Ali Ahmeti.
