The attack on the sentry in Goshince is proof of continuous ethnic tensions in the region, announced the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“The situation is primarily affected by the serious lack of rule of law and security in Kosovo, which is an obvious consequence of the failure to resolve the Kosovo problem as a whole. Also, the more frequent Pan-Albanian slogans in the region cannot be ignored. We believe that the efforts of the authorities in Macedonia to establish order in the troubled region of the country will receive the necessary international support,” reads the statement of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
