I am not afraid to answer any questions by MPs today because I have the support of the former Prime Minister, Nikola Gruevski, said the Special Prosecutor, Katica Janeva while presenting her 6-month progress report of the SPO’s work before the Parliamentary Committee on Political System and Inter-Ethnic Relations.
Janeva urged MPs to make changes to the Law on Witness Protection and the Criminal Procedure Code that would extend the deadline for the work of the SPO, because, as Janeva said, it is in the interest of the citizens.
The session of the Committee on Political System and Inter-Ethnic Relations is still in progress.
Despite the discussion with the Committee, the report on the work of the SPO has been placed on the agenda for Parliament’s session which is scheduled for Monday.
