Personnel at the University Rectory at “St. Cyril and Methodius” today returned to their jobs after students of the “Student Plenum” ended their blockade at the entrance. Some employees said that this morning there was no blockade and they came into work smoothly and with no problems.
Today at 11:30, representatives of the “Student plenum” and “Mugra” have scheduled a press conference before the Rectory to announce their next steps and future plans.
Otherwise, today intensive work is taking place in the area where the buildings of the Faculty of Physical Education are meant to be built.
The “Student Plenum” yesterday blocked the front door of the Rectory in protest against what they call a breach of the Universities autonomy and the cutting down of trees on the campus.
They asked the deans of the faculties located on the campus of UCAM to state an explanation regarding the new facilities to be built in that area.
