The second reading of the Law on education at the Assembly

Parliamentary Committee for Education, Science and Sports today, at second reading, should consider the draft law on higher education. The meeting was scheduled for yesterday, but due to possible new proposals for the law, was rescheduled for today.

On its agenda, the Committee has seven bills for second reading: Amending the Law on primary education, amending the Law on secondary education, amending the Law on higher education, bill on professorial academy, bill on teachers in primary and secondary schools, bill on training and exam for director of primary school, secondary school, boarding house and open civil university of lifelong learning and a bill on higher education establishments for training of teachers in preschool, primary and secondary education (faculties on pedagogy), and eighth item on the agenda is statutory decision for amending the statute of Bitola University “St. Kliment Ohridski”.
