Janeva and Boki 13 will remain in detention as their requests for revoking the detention were rejected

The Basic Court Skopje rejected the requests for abolishing the detention for the former Special Public Prosecutor and Bojan Jovanovski – Boki 13, suspects in the Racket case.

“The Crime Council at the Department for Organized Crime and Corruption acting upon requests by the accused k.J. and b.J. that were lodged by their attorneys for canceling the detention that were ruled by a decision of a Preliminary proceedings judge and based upon the facts and the circumstances stated in the proposals has made decisions that: the Proposal by the accused k.J. for revocation of the detention set by a preliminary proceedings judge and extended with a decision by a Criminal Council due to reasons stated in Article 165 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code, is rejected as unsustained. The Proposal by the accused B.J. of abolishing the detention for revocation of the detention set by a decision of a Preliminary proceedings judge and extended by a decision of the Criminal Court for less strict measures is rejected as unsustained” states the press release issued by the Criminal Court.

The press release adds that both parties have the right to appeal in a period of three days at the Appellate Court- Skopje
