During today’s session, the Riaset of the Islamic Religious Community of Macedonia (IRC) unanimously voted in favor of dismissing the Reis Sulejman efendi Rexhepi from his position as the Reis-ul-ulema, the President of the Islamic Community of Macedonia, informed the Gostivar mufti Shakir efendi Fetahu.
Fetahu was appointed as the acting President of IRC until new elections have been called for.
