EU Commissioner for Enlargement and Neighborhood Policy Johannes Hahn, along with MEPs Eduard Kukan, Ivo Vajgl and Richard Howitt, will today try to move the negotiations from deadlock and find the ultimate solution to the political crisis.

During the visit, Hahn and the MEP three, as announced by the European Commission, will have separate meetings with leaders of political parties and then hold a joint leadership meeting.

The basis for reaching a final solution would be the agreement from 2nd of June.

The visit of Hahn and the three facilitators from the European Parliament comes a day after the visit of the Assistant of the US Secretary of State Victoria Nuland, who said that there are several other outstanding issues and expressed hope that the political crisis will soon be resolved.

– We hope that tomorrow will be a very, very good day and everyone will sit down at the table, ready to finalize the deal. It is in the best interest of Macedonia and in the interest of a strong transatlantic trajectory of your country – Nuland said in an interview with TV “Alsat-M”.
