The Fund for Innovations and Technological Development (FITD) of North Macedonia issued a public call for co-financed grants for newly formed trade companies, startups and spin-offs, from the instrument for support “Start-upping 3,” which is opened until the 12th of June this year. The total budget is 2 million EUR and this instrument is expected to instigate the development of the introduction of innovations and to secure support for legal entities that want to develop a new product or service.

As FITD’s director, Kosta Petrov explained during the press conference, with this instrument, the Fund is securing up to 90% of the project’s total budget, but not above 40,000 EUR for trade companies that are active up to 3 years, and up to 85% of the total budget, but not above 60,000 EUR for trade companies that are active above 3 but less than 6 years, up to the moment of applying. Now, for the first, an opportunity is given for applying for assets for teams that count at least five members.
