In just one full day, three officials of DUI, Sherfik Duraki, Arben Labenishta and Hazbi Lika resigned, two of the leading positions in the party and one from public office, Deputy Defense Minister.
Unhappy with the organization of DUI, especially the functioning of the branches, Shefik Duraki, vice president of branch of DUI in Arachinovo, today was last of the three who resigned from party functions.
The trend was started yesterday by Deputy Defense Minister Arben Labenishta, who resigned from party and public functions. The organizing secretary of the party Hazbi Lika also resigned.
According to Ramadan Ramadani, analyst of “Nisma Institute”, resignations from party functions are mostly expected and normal during the large party problems in DUI that simmer for many years.
– But the moment of coincidence of these resignations as early resignations of regime officials, a regime which every day is barely keeping itself together, puts DUI in a decisive role in resolving the political crisis in the country, if it DUI knows how to politically exploit the opportunity – Ramadani stated for META news agency.
According to analyst Albert Musliu, this is rarely good news in our political environment.
– I saw a political capacity to do so on their congress. Labenishta’s decision is to be welcomed because he also resigned a public office. I hope that this will become a principle, because such behavior is European, and is welcomed. This is a good opportunity in the future to respect social responsibility – emphasized Musliu.
The opinion of Minister of Local Government Lirim Shabani, given in a Sunday interview on “Radio Free Europe”, to the question how is the coalition between VMRO-DPMNE and DUI functioning, given the current political situation, is that between DUI and VMRO-DPMNE there are no taboo topics.
– In a family sometimes there are misunderstandings among members, and sometimes we have cases in which we have disagreements, but it is important that we are open for dialogue, we always discuss and often find solutions through dialogue on all issues, so there are no taboo topics that we do not raise and discuss on them together – says Shabani.
DUI spokesman Artan Grubi gave preference for response and reaction to party leader Ali Ahmeti, who today is to address in Struga.
Grubi also announced a reaction to the conversation between Minister Gordana Jankuloska and Zoran Stavreski, in which she calls him with abusive words.
