Dimitrov and Dendias have agreed upon the further implementation of the Prespa Agreement

The Foreign Affairs Minister Nikola Dimitrov is visiting Geneva as part of the delegation led by Prime Minister Zoran Zaev to participate at the meeting organized by the World Economic Forum on the subject of “Strategic dialogue for the Western Balkans”.

On the margins of the meeting, Dimitrov has met with the Greek Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias

“During the meeting, opinions were exchanged about the latest condition of the bilateral relations, the situation in the region, including its European perspective in the aftermath of the last European Council. Minister Dimitrov said he was pleased with the current collaboration with Greece and its efforts towards the start of the accession negotiations with the EU. He expressed the expectation that Greece should continue to be our strong supporter and promoter of our EU accession” announced the Foreign Affairs Ministry.

Both ministers have agreed upon the possibilities for promotion of the political dialogue and the intensification of the bilateral cooperation in all areas of mutual interest, through the ongoing implementation of the Prespa Agreement.
