DUI leader Ali Ahmeti today met with Eric Fournier, Director for Continental Europe in the French Foreign Ministry and Laurence Auer, Ambassador of France to Macedonia at the party headquarters in Tetovo. Topic of the meeting was the current crisis in the country, the political dialogue and the agreement reached on 2nd of June, as well as Euro-Atlantic integration of the country.
“France is a friend and supporter of the stability and security of Macedonia and its Euro-Atlantic perspective. France also supports the establishment of a real political dialogue and implementation of the agreement,” said Auer.
Ahmeti stressed that DUI has played a constructive role in resolving the difficult political crisis.
“DUI acts with full responsibility, setting out national interests before the interests of the party and decided to help resolve the crisis, not to deepen it with actions that would be beneficial to DUI, but not to the country,” stated Ahmeti.
