Secretary of the Municipality of Ohrid, Dimitar Spaseski, sues member of the City Council, Dejan Blazheski, who is also chairman of the municipal organization of LDP and a member of the top party leadership in Skopje, for slander and insult.
Through a question at the session of the Municipal Council, as well as at a press-conference, councilor Blazheski connected the secretary of the Municipality Spaseski to suspicious activities the erection of the skating rink on the central city square St. Kliment Ohridski last winter. A court hearing on this matter is scheduled for today in the Basic Court in Ohrid.
Defendant Blazheski, who is an economist by vocation, will have to defend himself on the process because none of the lawyers in Ohrid would accept to defend him.
– I am compelled to defend myself or get a lawyer from Skopje – says Blazeski for Ohrid “Super Radio”.
He also added that he was surprised by the cancellation of the engagement by the lawyers.
– At the very last moment, I was denied by the lawyer, and thus, I was forced to defend myself. Unfortunately, I will have to “import” a lawyer from Skopje. I won’t hesitate, despite the offer for legal reconciliation by the judge – said councilor Blazheski.
