SDSM returns to parliament tomorrow

The opposition coalition headed by SDSM will return to the national assembly tomorrow, as was agreed in the Przhino Agreement which the four big political parties signed on June 2 and June 15 to end the political crisis.

In the meantime the Action groups have been meeting to discuss the implementation of the Agreement. The most contentious issue at the moment is the Special public prosecutor who will work on the recorded phone conversations case.

The opposition won 34 seats in the assembly last year, however, three of their members, Solza Grcheva and Ljubica Buralieva of SDSM and Roza Topuzovska Karevska of LDP, disregarded their parties’ decision of boycotting the parliament and continued to participate in its proceedings.

These MP’s were excommunicated from their parties.
