PCER to file criminal charges of discrimination against government officials

-

After released audio recordings on which Roma are insulted, Party for full emancipation of Roma (PCER) announced criminal charges against ministers Mile Janakieski, Gordana Jankulovka and director of the Public Revenue Office Goran Trajkovski. President of PCER Samka Ibraimovski requires other parties of Roma who are in the Government to give consent for criminal charges.

– I publicly urge leaders of Roma parties which are in the Government to give consent for criminal charges prepared by the legal team of PCER. Within three days, if they don’t submit their support for the charges, our party will take that as recognition that the other Roma parties are satellite parties for VMRO-DPMNE – said Samka Ibraimovski, President of PCER.

Via email, PCER asked the Commission for Protection against Discrimination to respond to published audio recordings. The initial statement of President of the commission Dushko Minoski is that there is no basis for criminal prosecution, says Ibraimovski.

– President of the Commission against Discrimination says that it was a private conversation. I want to point out: if four people are discussing on a table and if one expresses vulgarly, i.e. discriminates me, I can sue him with two witnesses, file charges of discrimination, humiliation, spreading hatred and racism – says Ibraimovski.

President of PCER also reacted to the abolished welfare of Roma families. He asked Minister of Labor and Social Policy Dime Spasov to consider decisions for the abolished welfare.

– Otherwise, we won’t let Roma children go to school – added Ibraimovski.
