President Ivanov among Macedonians from Pustec

Today, President Gjorgje Ivanov, within the two-day visit to Albania, resides in Pustec and Mala Prespa, at a meeting with the Macedonian community from the Municipality of Pustec, the only Macedonian municipality in Albania. It was the first visit at the highest level from President of the Republic of Macedonia.
Ivanov visited the local self-government of the municipality, where he met Mayor of Pustec Edmon Temelko. Accompanied by the hosts, Ivanov made a tour of the church “St. Archangel Michael” and visited the high school “Trajan Georgievski and Mitre Kolevski”. Defense Minister Zoran Jolevski is also a part of the delegation accompanying President Ivanov.
President Ivanov yesterday in Tirana met with his host, Albanian President Bujar Nishani, Prime Minister Edi Rama, and Speaker of the Parliament Ilir Meta. Ivanov also met with the Mayor of Tirana Lulzim Basha and Archbishop of the Albanian Orthodox Church Anastasius Yannoulatos.
Albania’s capital, Tirana, especially downtown, as well as all official institutions, was decorated with the flag of the Republic of Macedonia. The variety of colors of the Macedonian flag was present in Pustec as well, where Macedonian arranged a heartfelt welcome for President Ivanov.
