With a decision of President Stevo Pendarovski, Erol Musliu was appointed to be the new Director of the Intelligence Agency. Before this, he was an Assistant-Director at the Agency.
Erol Musliu has graduated at the Faculty for Security in Skopje as one of the top students of his generations and after the graduation, in 1994, he was hired at the Direction for Security and Counterintelligence, and he moved at the Intelligence Agency as soon as it was formed. He is a non-party personnel proposed as a Director of UBK.
The mandate of the current director Zoran Ivanov ended today.
With this decision, Pendarovski is commencing the personnel policy in the security and intelligence structures that are under his jurisdiction.
