Professor Mirjana Najchevska appeared for her police interview this morning, however, before entering “Beko” police station she threw paint at the entrance of the station. Also, this morning, the Executive Director of the Helsinki Committee Uranija Pirovska is expected at the police station for questioning.
Dozens of citizens gathered in front of the police station this morning to show their support for Pirovska and Najchevska and to show their anger at police for what they call intimidation and pressure.
Citizens chanted “No justice, no peace”, “Police state”, and “Chavkov, show yourself”. There is an increase of police presence as they formed a cordon outside the police station to prevent protesters getting near the entrance of the police station.
