In North Macedonia 109 new COVID-19 cases, 422 recoveries and one death

In the last 24 hours in North Macedonia ,109 new COVID-19 cases were diagnosed, which brought the total number of coronavirus-diagnosed since the start of the pandemic to 11 942 cases. Also, 422 recovered and one person died in the last 24 hours, North Macedonia’s Ministry of Health informs.

In this time period, there were 782 COVID-19 testings.

The distribution of the new cases by cities is as follows: Skopje 20 cases; Kumanovo 16; Kavadarci 15; Shtip 13; Gostivar 10; Kichevo 7; Sveti Nikole 5; Veles 4; Tetovo and Vinica 3 each; Ohrid, Struga, Makedonski Brod and Radovish 2 each; and Prilep, Bitola, Gevgelija, Demir Hisar and Negotino 1 case each.

From the total number of patients who recovered, i.e. 422, the largest part are from the capital Skopje – 173. The other cities follow: Kumanovo 28; Shtip 93; Prilep 8; Tetovo 23; Struga 36: Ohrid 15; Gostivar 28; Radovish 1; Krushevo 2; Kochani 1; Probishtip 3; Demir Hisar 1; Makedonski Brod 1; Sveti Nikole 3; Kichevo 1 and Resen 5.

A 70-year old woman from Skopje is the only casualty of the disease in the last 24 hours. She died in hospital.

The total number of COVID-19 diagnosed in North Macedonia, thus climbed to 11 942, the number of recoveries to 8 087, the number of deaths to 528 and the number of the active cases now is 3 327.
