Bogojeski: Gruevski defends the interests of a dozen people

Nikola Gruevski defends the interests of a dozen people, and the steps he takes reminds of Slobodan Milosevic’s time, says Petar Bogojeski, about VMRO-DPMNE, from the Initiative for Reform and Democratization in an interview with the Bulgarian news agency BGNES.

“Nikola Gruevski’s “New Era” in Macedonia is comparable to that of Milosevic, but in no case can talk about a “New Era” for Gruevski himself. What does this mean – we will now have a “new Gruevski”? It is completely incomprehensible, not just for our voters, such a thing does not even exist in political literature”, said Bogojeski.

He says Gruevski’s patriotism is only one manipulation to conceal his helplessness.

“We do not need pseudo-patriotism and the personal interest of a dozen people. We need authentic Macedonian patriotism, based on European values, and this is our ultimate goal – Euro-Atlantic integration. Personally, in this respect, I consider the Agreement between our two countries, as a treaty protecting Macedonian national interests”, said Bogojeski.
