Bogoevski: In March, Gruevski’s phone bill for roaming came up to 184.000 denars, the peoples’ money

Pavle Bogoevski, an independent MP from SDSM’s coalition at today’s constitutive session of Parliament said that the leader of VMRO-DPMNE, Nikola Gruevski spent 184.000 denars for roaming services from his official mobile phone.

Bogoevski said that even though Gruevski has not been Prime Minister for over a year now, he is still using the account as if he were, and that the country will foot the bill.

“Remarks made by MPs from VMRO-DPMNE are not for discussions, but to cover up their crimes . The problem with the blockade of Parliament is to conceal a crime, which is still going on. I received a picture of an inspection of Nikola Gruevski’s official mobile phone account. Even though this platform allows me to confirm the truth, I will not, but I ask that all representatives to check whether it is true. From the official phone of the Prime Minister, which the government of Macedonia pays for, from March the 1st to April the 1st, Gruevski’s bill amounted to 184.000 denars for roaming services. Did the Macedonian people pay for his arrangements while he was in Malta”, asked Bogoevski.

Parliament Speaker, Trajko Veljanoski told Bogoevski that he can turn to the General Secretary of the government for an explanation for the bills.

“You have turned into agents, checking telephone bills. There is a General Secretary of the government, so go to him for an explanation”, said Veljanoski.
