Bailey: The Special Public Prosecutor should be given all the resources she needs

“I would note that 108 MP’s, the four political parties themselves and the Council of Public Prosecutors voted in the Special Public Prosecutor all selected her virtually unanimously because if  her professionalism, judgement and fairness. I would think that they would want to give her the resources that she feels she needs to conduct this very important work”, said US Ambassador to Macedonia, Jess Bailey, along with Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski during the opening of a new school building for students with visual impairments from the state school” Dimitar Vlahov “.

“It is important to that there is a credible and independent legal process accounting for the issues arising from and surrounding the intercepted communications. This is very important for Macedonia to exit from the situation it is in right now. I think the process in the working groups should continue because the need to complete this work is very important, and there is not much time left”, said Ambassador Bailey.
