Baily: Still no agreement, negotiations continue tomorrow

After two hours of negotiations at the MP’s Clubhouse, today’s talks between the political parties, signatories to the Pržino Agreement ended with no agreement.

“There is still no agreement, negotiations continue tomorrow”, stated the US Ambassador to Macedonia, Jess Baily.

Before today’s’ meeting started, the representative from the DUI party, Artan Grubi stated that talks would be taking place in a constructive atmosphere.

“The differences are minimal and we are close to an agreement. I hope that we will come to an agreement today or tomorrow at the latest, as for elections, the only possible date for this year, is December 11”, said Grubi.

Nikola Todorov, the representative from the VMRO-DPMNE says that the SDSM are constantly rejecting proposals, while his party is constructive and are constantly suggesting new proposals to reach a final solution.

Meanwhile, according to Radmila Sekerinska from the SDSM says that the VMRO-DPMME are still running away from regular elections and the Pržino Agreement.

“We believe that Macedonia needs democratic and fair elections as soon as possible and therefore offer solutions, not open new questions”, Sekerinska said before today’s negotiations at the MPs’ Clubhouse.
