French Ambassador Laurence Auer, today during a visit to Bitola expressed concern over the political crisis in Macedonia and said that a solution must be found.
“The political crisis in Macedonia concerns us all, especially me because I come from France, one of the founding countries of the European Union. It is a pity that on May 9 when we should celebrate Europe, we are in a situation where we are concerned about Macedonia, and we have to ask ourselves how to get out of the crisis. We wonder how elections will be held on June 5 when conditions have not yet been agreed between the political parties, the lists are not ready and you really have to get out of this crisis”, said the French ambassador.
Auer visited a French cemetery in Bitola, to mark the May 8, the end of World War II.
