Custody for the second and third suspect in case “Puch”

After the questioning before a judge, Skopje Criminal Court sentenced the second and third suspects (Sonja Verushevska, wife of the prime suspect and Branko Palfirov, official in the Municipality of Strumica) in the case “Puch” to 30-day detention.

Measure of caution, confiscation of passport and weekly appearance at the Strumica court was determined for the fourth accused in this case, Zoran Zaev.

According to MOI, the police action “Puch” prevented attempted endangering the constitutional order and undemocratic takeover of power. The prime suspect, former director of the Security and Intelligence Agency Zoran Verushevski was already taken into custody.

Criminal charges were filed against SDSM leader Zoran Zaev.
