Zvrlevski will remain in full capacity as Attorney General until Parliament’s decision

Until his dismissal by the Parliament of the Republic of Macedonia, the Attorney General Marko Zvrlevski will remain in his position in full capacity, said Prof. d-r. Gordan Kalajdziev.

“It is the Parliament which will dismiss him and until that moment he will remain in his present position”, said Kalajdziev.

He explained that it is better for Zvrlevski, starting from today, when the Council of Public Prosecutors gave its support for the Government’s proposal for his ousting from his position and until the moment of dismissal “as any normal person in a situation like his, to withhold himself from procedures, issuing directions and similar actions”.

The dismissal of Zvrlevski, according to Article 67 of the Law for Public Prosecution is made by the Parliament, at which the Government, which already began the procedure, should submit its proposal along with the opinion of the Council of Public Prosecutors, which was brought today.
