The government has organized “large public celebrations” for the invitation to join NATO, in 15 cities across the country, along with over 40 domestic artists and musicians on Saturday, 14th of July.
“Macedonia is starting a new chapter – we received an invitation for NATO membership and a date for negotiations with the EU. We stand side by side with the strongest countries of Europe and the world. Macedonia is entering a new age. It is a time of pride, hope, success, stability and security. There is a time for a better life for all citizens in our country. We have striven for a better future”, read the invitation to the public on Government’s Facebook event page.
