Bulgaria blames Macedonia for the outbreak of brucellosis

Bulgaria’s Minister of Health Petar Moskov claims that the cases of brucellosis in his country originate from a sickened goat that intended for mating, after it was illegally smuggled there from Macedonia.

Bulgarian news portal „Off News“ writes that 23 people have been infected by the disease in the town Rila. Nine new cases were registered over the weekend.

– The high number of people infected is due to inconsideration to the orders given by public health organs. You can’t keep unboiled milk at 35 degrees and use it as a cure- said Moskov, explaining that one of the diseased persons decided to cure himself in such way after suddenly feeling unwell.
