Zaev and Borisov will mark the anniversary of the Ilinden Uprising in Blagoevrad

Macedonian Prime Minister Zoran Zaev and Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov will together mark the 115th anniversary of the Ilinden Uprising tomorrow in Blagoevgrad, announced the government’s press service.

The two prime ministers will participate in the ceremony by laying wreaths and flowers at the monument of Goce Delchev, at “Macedonia” square in Blagoevgrad.

This will be the second joint celebration, following the signing of the Treaty of Friendship, Cooperation and Neighborly Relations between the Republic of Bulgaria and the Republic of Macedonia one year ago.

The Minister of Interior of the Republic of Macedonia, Oliver Spasovski, as well as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of the Republic of Bulgaria, Krasimir Karakachanov, will attend the anniversary.
