VMRO-People’s Party expressed satisfaction with the responsiveness of the Government, which expressly decided on a hundred percent compensation to farmers from flooded areas in the Pelagonija region.
“We are particularly impressed by the amount of funds of more than four million euros assigned only to ZIK “Pelagonija”, which is more than 75 percent of the total projected six million euros for all farmers damaged by the floods in the Pelagonija region. This clearly shows the special concern of the government for the biggest agricultural complex in the country to provide a steady stream of income. VMRO-People’s Party believes that the amount of more than four million euros will be maximally used for purposes that are provided in advance,” reads a statement from the party.
