VMRO-DPMNE has asked for organizing the local elections as soon as possible, in order for the municipalities to be deblocked. As announced at the press conference by VMRO-DPMNE’s MP and a member of its Executive Committee, Antonio Miloshoski, the party has asked the parliamentary majority to create conditions for calling for elections, and in the meantime to allow the mayors’ and municipalities’ councils to work unobtrusively.
Miloshoski has proposed three possible dates with the first one being 2nd of July, and the other two are 17th or 24th of September and 15th of October.
-we think that the citizens should gain the opportunity to elect a new local government as earliest as possible and we propose that the local elections be held as soon as possible, in accordance with the legally determined deadlines – said Miloshoski.
