VMRO-DPMNE voted Gruevski to be the party’s honorary president

When the long speech ended, the former leader of VMRO-DPMNE, Nikola Gruevski was voted as the party’s honorary president at the Congress that took place in Valandovo.

When the speech which lasted for an hour and a half about the party’s ups and downs, about the disappointments by his closest collaborators and after the messages for the new party leader, Koce Trajanovski suggested the delegates to vote for the proposal that Gruevski should be elected as the party’s honorary president.

The proposal was accepted without any vote that was against or was withhold after which Gruevski received a plaque as an expression of gratitude for his work in the party.

The party’s delegates have left for a lunch at a local restaurant and the continuation of the Congress will resume at 15h.
