On the occasion of International Anti-Corruption Day, the U.S. Embassy Skopje in collaboration with American Corners Macedonia will organize a virtual town hall meeting for a panel of experts to discuss creative ways to counter corruption.
The event, which will start today at 18:00h in collaboration with American Corners in Skopje, Bitola, Tetovo, Stip and Struga, is part of U.S. Embassy Skopje’s activities to bring awareness to issues of corruption, the effects of corruption on democratic institutions, and the importance of government accountability to its citizens.
Ambassador Jess Baily will open the event at the American Corner in Skopje.
