Today we discussed election laws and I must say that there is serious progress, said the Belgian expert Peter van Haute following the meeting of the Action groups.
He said that the talks in the past few days were productive and constructive and that the negotiators made effort to reach a result. Van Haute said serious progress has been made regarding the Election laws, but most important of all is that the sides can agree.
The techical details and questions about the voting, van Haute said, are not tasks for this Action group.
– I am very satisfied that I can say we finally have an agreement about the topics that we discussed. All of the representatives participated in the discussion and we are close to reaching an agreement- stated van Haute.
