US Embassy donates medical supplies to help in the fight against Covid-19

The US Embassy has donated medical supplies to help in the fight against the coronavirus. The Embassy informs that the donation was received by the Deputy Prime Minister for European Affairs Bujar Osmani, as the national coordinator for allocation of foreign aid, and the Health Minister Venko Flipche, in the presence of the U.S Ambassador in North Macedonia Kate Mary Byrns.

“This is part of the announced bigger support of over one million dollars. it consists of different types of protective gear – masks, suits and other gear that are intended for doctors, epidemiologists and other healthcare workers. The equipment will be at the disposal of the Ministry of Health and the Public Health Institute which need it most as the equipment will be used by healthcare workers that are on the country’s first lines of defense from the epidemic” Osmani said.
