519 106 citizens vaccinated in North Macedonia

The Ministry of Health informs that at the vaccination stations and with the filed outreach vaccination in North Macedonia as of yesterday, 519 106 people were vaccinated. The first dose of vaccine against COVID-19 was given to 3 909 citizens yesterday and a total of 12 939 citizens were vaccinated. In the country, thus far, 920 442 doses of the vaccines were given, and 401 336 people got the second dose.

With the last number, 64% of the population above 70 years of age have received at least one dose of the vaccine, 62% of the population over 65 years of age has been vaccinated with at least one dose of the vaccine, 57% of the population over 60 years of age have received at least one dose of the vaccine and about 45% of the population above 50 years of age have received at least one dose of the vaccine.

“The citizens without a scheduled appointment will be vaccinated in the current vaccination stations across the country. The process of field vaccination is carried out in the territory of the whole country, with the rotation of the medical equipment in every village, rural or urban settlement. The site vakcinacija.mk is open for scheduling the vaccination of all of the children,“ the Ministry of Health informs.

The Ministry of Health appeals to the citizens to involve in the mass immunization, because, as it says, it is the only way we can defeat the virus.
