Today, two initiatives are expected to be filed in Parliament for President Gjorgi Ivanov to revoke his pardons.
The DUI party announced that they will propose amendments to the Law on Pardons, which will allow the President to annul all 56 pardons he granted, or to annul them separately with the request of the persons pardoned.
The opposition, SDSM is asking the Legislative Commission to authentically interpret the Law on Pardons, and to come to the decision that Article 11 from the Law on Pardons does not exist, and on that basis, Ivanov’s decision would be invalid.
