The regional summit between Macedonia, Greece, Bulgaria and Albania has been postponed until after the elections

The second regional summit of the foreign ministers of Greece, Macedonia, Albania and Bulgaria has been postponed because of the elections in Macedonia and due to the recent political turbulence in Sofia after the presidential elections.

Greek Foreign Minister, Nikos Kotzias, who initiated the regional meeting, announced that the four ministers agreed that instead of late November, the meeting should be held after the parliamentary elections in Macedonia.

The meeting was scheduled for November 21 and 22 in Thessaloniki, similar to the first summit in April that focused on the refugee crisis and where it was agreed that the meetings should be held regularly to improve communication and cooperation between the four countries.
