There is no clear distinction between political parties and the state, the state system is being abused and political discrimination is frequent. Because of this, several laws have been violated. Macedonia has good laws, but in reality, they are not put into practice, and the financing of political parties is also problematic, concluded Frank Hantke, the manager of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation’s offices in Skopje and Tirana.
