The peoples’ money ended up in the pockets of the pro-government media and was spent on plots of land on Vodno

SDSM spokesman, Petre Shilegov released documents from the Central Registry which, according to him, shows that the peoples’ money ended up in the pro-government media’s pockets.

According to Shilegov, it’s one of the reasons why right conditions can not be provided for objective reporting in the media, and that is why it is not possible to have fair and regular election campaigns or a fair election process.

“According to official documents from the Central Registry, the weekly “Republika”, owned by the company “Prva Republika Ltd” earned revenues amounting to 1.1 million euros in a period of three years. Identical to millions of payments, such as a hefty 13 million euros for TVs “Sitel”,”Kanal 5″ and “Alpha”, and “Republika” for a period of three years ended up with almost 900,000 euros of the peoples’ money. According to the documents, the owner of the “Prva Republika Ltd” is “Irsine Limited” from Belize, the famous tax haven for the “family” and Nikola Gruevski. The company owner of “Republika” is registered at the same address with the famous company “Sirah Limited”, said Shilegov.

Shilegov said that in the project “The Truth about Macedonia” it reveals that “Sirah Limited” is the company Gruevski used to get his plots of land on Vodno, and its manager Risto Novachevski, just happens to be Nikola Gruevski’s best man.

According to the SDSM spokesman, this is why Nikola Gruevski does not want a free media and does not accept the European laws on the media.
