According to the weekly report issued by the Public health Institute for the period 22 – 28 February, a total of 20.161 materials were tested in the laboratories where the molecular testing for the presence of SARS-COV-2 is carried out, which is by 27.2% more compared to the previous week. 3.628 new positive cases in 32 cities nationwide were registered with an increase of 56.4% compared to the previous week, and the percentage of positivity is moving from 12 to 21.7%, an average of 17.9%.
Most of the registered cases are located in Skopje and the highest weekly incidence was registered in Negotino and Kavadarci.
